To whomever has been spraying this beautiful art all over “city property” (i.e. public space) in my neighbourhood, you are top on my list of awesome human beings right now. Especially the ones near the medical building at E. 10th
. It is my goal to find all of your public art and take pictures…I’ve only found these three pieces so far.

My favourite English professor at the University of Winnipeg once told me over lunch, ” ‘Graffiti’ is a conversation with public space.” The conversation you have started is the best I have seen yet in this city. Second only to the “graffiti” in Montreal, which is usually of the political variety rather than the disillusioning “Catcher in the Rye” variety. I’m still slapping myself for not taking a picture of a red brick wall in the “McGill Ghetto” that someone spraypainted a Camus quote on, in bright blue and yellow – “Perpetual strife demanded perpetual stimulants.”
