My favourite company in the world <ahem>, Rogers Wireless, failed to include a replacement SIM card along with my new “Rocket Stick”, which I was was relying on for Internet access when I finally moved into my own abode, rendering it completely useless. They are charging me $80 for their mistake. Of course, I will vehemently be disputing this nonsensical penalty. Unfortunately, it means a short interruption in the pace of the blog – longer posts remain in half-finsihed word documents for the moment. Please be patient, as I am posting when I luck into being able to connect with a stranger’s (neighbour’s) network, that happens not to be closed off. The network is called “hockey”. I doubt I’ll ever meet these folks, in the sense of not saying more than “Hi” - an improperly set up wireless network called “hockey”? Ouch…
The SIM Card is supposedly in the mail, and shall arrive by (also, supposedly) Monday at the latest. So, until then, dear friends, and I’ll have a whole lot to say!
NB: Roomie (formerly to be, but I will continue to refer to him/her as this, AND we will continue to excellent friends, even after quite the blow-out, which is really huge for me, and I can’t help but think has something to do with this…) donated this fabulous lamp to my amazing social assistance-funded bachelor pad. Cheers and hugs!
(Actual colour of light = white; I could’t help but play with the flash )
…and every act of play is a boot against the cage we call bureaucracy!
